We are the people of God and apart of His family by Grace. Having been led by His Spirit to receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we do joyfully enter into this New Covenant with each other, as members of the Body of Christ.
We choose to walk together in Christian love and in the unity of the faith, even as our Lord prayed that we would in His prayer for us (John l7:2l & 26); To seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness in our own lives, and in His Church (Matt. 6:33); To use our spiritual gifts in service to the Lord (I Peter 4:l0); To joyfully give of our resources to support the work of the ministry (II Cor. 9:7); To bear one another’s burdens (Gal. 6:2); To faithfully pray for one another (James 5:l6); To put away all bitterness, wrath and evil speaking, choosing rather the teaching of God’s Word to be kind, tenderhearted and forgiving of one another (Ephesians 4:3l-32).
We covenant together to fulfill our calling to be ministers of the Gospel both at home and around the world. We will seek to fulfill our Lord’s Great Commission (Matthew 28:l9-20); To be sensitive to human need and to give of ourselves to meet that need, even as unto Christ Himself (Matthew 25:40).
We covenant to seek God’s Presence in our personal lives and Church through Bible study and prayer (II Timothy 2:l5); To lead our families both to know and to follow Christ (Proverbs 22:6); To be examples before the world (I Timothy 4:l2).
We moreover covenant that when we leave this Church family, we will unite with another church as soon as possible, where the spirit of this Covenant and the teachings of God’s Word can be continued through us.
